This Koyo drawn cup roller clutch and bearing assembly with a plastic clutch cage transmits torque between the shaft and housing in one direction and allows free overrun in the opposite direction. It has a roller bearing on each end of the clutch to support radial loads, and a drawn cup outer steel shell that provides a small cross-section for use in restricted spaces. The outer shell serves as a raceway for the clutch and bearing rollers, and the clutch has an acetyl resin polymer cage with integral leaf springs for operation at temperatures up to 200 degrees F (90 degrees C). The rollers are made of through-hardened, high-carbon chromium steel for heat tolerance and durability, and the assembly comes packed with lithium soap grease.
